After briefly foraying into blogging last summer for approximately four? posts, and publishing a mom-friendly blog during my semester abroad in Paris, I took a look back at this little blog to see what I loved last summer...and realized I wanted to keep it going. It can't hurt to try, right? This year begins my senior year at Arizona State University, and with that bring the lsats, law school applications, and hopefully an acceptance letter to either the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham Law School or USC Gould School of Law. This little re-intro is short and sweet, and tomorrow I will be back with the nitty gritty, because I have been so inundated by inspiration from the thousands of blogs I read religiously, and sometimes I don't know what to do with all of that fire! So we'll give it another shot.

I've been particularly fond of several bags as of late, and have made it my life's mission to find them for a reasonable price. I have yet to find said covetable lookalikes, however, drooling over the actual bags in photos is quite equal to owning their twins. Here's therundown on my top three picks.

The Marc Jacobs Stam bag. Named after the lovely Jessica Stam, this quilted little leather beauty has the perfect amount of elegant gold hardware and classic design to satisfy both my badass and classy cravings. The bag fits perfectly into the nook of my arm, my preferred spot to carry such pieces. I would wear this bag with dark skinnies, a loose white deep-v, and black over the knee leather boots. It would also look equally alluring with a soft floral print dress and brown Cynthis Vincent Luella wedges , with perhaps a leather jacket if the weather permits.

The Chloe Paddington bag. Highly coveted by celebrities and social climbers alike, this bag represents everything I adore about bags. Soft, supple leather, in nearly every color dreamable, chunky, yet delicate and tasteful hardware, subtle hints at its designer origins, perfect size, shape, and slouchiness, and above all versatility. This bag canbe worn with casual jeans and a tee, a cocktail dress and platforms, a summer floral and sandals, high-waisted trousers and a frilly blouse, or a mini and a leather jacket. It adds class and elegance to any look, and makes the wearer feel vibrant. I am completely unsurprised that this bag was the most coveted of Spring '09.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Stephen Sprouse for Louis Vuitton Graffiti bag. I love the initial brightness and shock this bag exudes, while maintaining the classic shape and design of the LV monogram bags. This bag says that the wearer is daring, adventurous, and exciting to be around; I want to befriend any wearer and then snatch her bag when she's not looking (sort-of!). I would love to be the center of attention while carrying this neon flashing sign that screams "I love bold statements, and I'm not afraid to make one!" Please feel free to buy me this fantastic piece of arm candy ;).

I have been away from this burgeoning blog for quite some time now. Searching for and purchasing a new car (black Mazda3!), working incessantly, and watching past seasons of Nip/Tuck can be altogether time-consuming. But I am devoted to making this blog worthwhile and will try to post nearly every day. Let's hope it attracts fans as so many other blogs have attracted me.

feeling intense

some days i'm feeling particularly badass; these dark and glam pieces would compliment such a mood quite nicely i believe, especially the steves, which are a delightfully affordable alternative to covetable couture designs. i'm feeling very fond of sass and bide at that moment, and am crazed over the taffeta bodysuit, which i believe would look awesome with denim cutoffs and black destressed tights.

first impressions

first impressions are extremely important; they often determine your entire opinion and outlook on a person or thing, and sometimes are unchanging regardless of the effort one puts into altering such impressions. hopefully your first impression of me is a good one; i would hate to come off poorly during my blogging debut! although i admittedly find the idea of blogging to be incredibly self-absorbed, i had to succumb to starting my own. the vast amounts of thoughts and inspiration that fill my mind every single moment begged to be shared with other obsessive, similarly-minded fashionable bloggers. so here i am, creating my first blog, and my first post. i hope that other will find my blog as enchanting as i find so many that i stumble across on almost a daily basis. i'll be sharing my thoughts, opinions, desires, inspirations, and ramblings, and hopefully this blog will be as engaging as so many of yours are to me ;)

today i'm super sick as i have been almost every week since starting as a private swim instructor...those little munchkins spread germs like no other. anyways, heres a couple ramblings to introduce myself to you all:
